Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Post wheelsets YOU built!

Hey I would like to see some pictures of wheels or wheelsets YOU built for your fixed or single speed bike. If you had them built custom by a local builder that's cool also as long as you can list specs and give the builders name or shop name. Include a description of parts used and if you happen to know the weight that would be nice also.

Bikes: N+1

I never took any photos of all those damn NuVinci hubs I laced.

These I currently ride on or still own.
SLX hubs and Blunt rims

Tiagra hubs and CR18 rims

105/Open Pro and Ultegra/Deep V

Deore m529 hubs and Dyad rims

Not really bike porn but these wheels put up with my abuse. Lord knows I have killed a few of them.

Bikes: Couple of rigid MTB's and a fixed gear

Just an income challenged beginner a few years into cycling. Who knows if I can build a wheel!?! Used Sun CR18's, the cheapest, stamped FG hub, original front hub and *bay spokes. S.O.B.!!! It worked, and is still true two years later!!

I miss this disco ball.

32h high polish H+Son Formation Faces, laced with sapim CX Rays and alloy polyax nipples, to a front circus monkey and a rear novatec. radial front, 3x rear. Came to like 1890g. Stiff as hell.
