It is a Pre Cursa and it's a decent deal. Hard to say how good of a deal without knowing the specific parts on the bike and the fork also doesn't look original. But a new Pre Cursa frame with fork, headset and seatpost will run you $375 with shipping on ebay right now. If you built new with cheap parts you'd be looking at another $250 for the rest of the parts so $625 plus any tools or lbs labor to build it. If you spent on some decent parts the entire build would be closer to $1000. I used to have one and it is a great frame for the money. Most important thing is whether it fits you

Giving us the craigslist posting would help a lot. It'd also be helpful to tell us your height and the dolan's frame size

If it fits it seems like a good deal for a complete bike. I like mine.

Here are some of the specs frame 54"
45 Campagnolo X 15...gear ratio.
real nice PhilWood hub.
in good shape.
rear gear (flip-flop) is fine but...
one problem...rear rim is bent. NEEDS NEW BACK RIM(WHEEL).

I guess it really is a pre-curse.

Depends on what other travesties you think the owner might have committed to the bike...

Who cares if its spray painted? If i was gonna pick a bike based on the way it looks, brand new that bike wouldn't even be in my top 50. You said yer a "beginner" so **** it, get it, spray paint the rest of it, or don't, and replace whatever needs it, then ride it. A complete bike for 300 bucks isn't bad, especially for yer first FG.

Just don't get blue deeeep V's and don't get a top tube pad. Or do it. Whatever blows yer hair back, man.
