It was a near perfect day for cycling this past weekend, and the Ruby Ride was a very nice event. Here are a few pictures from this event and, a few from our Parkway recovery ride on Sunday.

We gather at the Franklin High School early Saturday amidst some familiar mountain dew.

The Tenessee River was full, very full, and with all the rain the foliage was rich and green.

I like how you climb a mountain for your "recovery" ride.

I assume you must mean the Little Tennessee River (above), because the Tennessee River starts in Knoxville and flows away from NC.
