A few pictures from the Ruby Ride
It was a near perfect day for cycling this past weekend, and the Ruby Ride was a very nice event. Here are a few pictures from this event and, a few from our Parkway recovery ride on Sunday.
We gather at the Franklin High School early Saturday amidst some familiar mountain dew.

And we're off, Wolfpack, BikeWNC and Robin.

The last of the morning dew burning off.

The scenery was particularly nice on this route.

The Tenessee River was full, very full, and with all the rain the foliage was rich and green.

The rest stops, how could we get along without them. The support was great on this event.

Onward we go, heading back toward Franklin.

The greater Franklin airport. It doesn't look too busy today.

Heading up the Parkway to the Richland Balsam Overlook on our Sunday recovery ride.

Wolfpack making climbing look easy - on her new bike.

BikeWNC doesn't look too stressed either - on his new bike.
Things were very green around the Parkway too - evidence of lots of recent rain.

Wolpack and Barry pose for a photo before our descent back to ground zero.
