NOVA Commuting - Alternatives
Howdy y'all,
I'm looking for an alternative route under the beltway than taking Van Dorn Street - is there anything in the same area that isn't such an intense bottleneck with a straight-up hill?

I'm not sure if this helps since it is further east, but it was posted on the BikeWashington website. The Telegraph-Eisenhower Bicycle and Pedestrian Path supposedly opened on Saturday.

There are a few ways I use.
West of I95 is Hemming, with several ways to get there. Then Leeville and Edsall Road
Backlick through the Springfield commercial area. Busy, but it works.
There already is a good way at the Eisenhower Ave exit using Clermont and the break in the sound wall.
