Dangit, and i thought i wasn't going to spend more $$$...
Spent $100 over at www.trisports.com for a set of Profile Design T2+ Aerobars and a gel flask holder for my bike. Then i stopped by Chick's Sporting Goods to pick up some extra nose clips and goggles for swimming and some New Balance 857 running shoes (my old Nike's just aren't cutting it anymore which may be why there's a very mild pain in my right knee...)
If you want to buy anything over at www.trisports.com though use the coupon code BDAY7 for 20% off.
(hence the reason i ordered something from them today.) It's only good until Midnight tonight, Arizona time. So that most likely means 11pm California time.

Again, i hate nashbar.com...
https://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?c...dult%20Helmets
LG Prologue TT Helmet. Just ordered a white one. Afew threads on the road forum were mentioning that of all the aero modifications that you can do to go faster, a TT helmet provides the greatest reduction in drag out of all possible items (even more than aero wheels) and is usually the least expensive thing.
If i get it in time i'll test it out on another triathlon next weekend along with the new aerobars.

Speaking of clear lenses - has anyone yet purchase the new Oakley Transition (r) lenses? I want to buy a pair but would like a review from someone before putting out the cash.
Also need to buy some new Sidi Dominators - anyone see a good price out there?
I'm a weird gal - I hate to shop!

i got the racing jackets with the transitions, theyre pretty cool....dunno if theyre worth full tick though, i got them an ebay thank god!!!!! if you like oakleys i suppose youll dig them, its nothing thats very obvious until you start thinking about it(which is cool!!!). coming out of tree cover onto sunny roads, they take a second, its not super fast, but it does work.

I'm sortof hoping they come out with lenses for my M frames. I hate to buy a new system just to get the lenses (although I can see it's an Oakley plot!). Well I may wait awhile or check eBay like you.

I have not tried Oakley trasistion lens, but if they actually have one, give me the link and I'll
try a pair and let you know!
I have a new pair ( well make that 2 pair) of the Oakley Radar that shed moisture, oil
etc.
One pair is black polarized, the other is a "vr28".
I got a big fingerprint on it, one quick wipe and it was gone!!
Highly recomended!!
Now, my guess is your thinking why I would want 2 pair? Well it goes with the other
5 or 6 pair of Oakley I've got.
Although I do prefer Maui Jim, I get great deals on Oakley!

I'm very happy with my Giordana and PI bibs, but I wanted to try some Castellis for comparison (and having 3 pair will help reduce my biking-related laundry). I really wanted a pair of y-pro, but they are discontinued and getting hard to find in some colors/sizes, so had to settle for these:

My crotch has wings.

CLIF BLOCKS/BARS SALE!!!!
I went online shopping for supplements and found a site with good prices. The one-price shipping is $5.95. I picked up some Omega supps at 50% off. Sorry, no Heed products. Their Clif products were 37-40% off retail so I also snagged some Bloks and Bars. Best of all, they still had boxes of the seasonal PUMPKIN SPICE bars in stock! mmmmmm.
