Really? TOO big? Wow...haven't used those two words together in...well...never. I've always thought them put together an oxymoron. :D

They're 2006 Cannondale XCE 3000 MTB shoes that usually retail for $289.99. Go check nashbar if you want to get them for 1/3 of MSRP. ;) It was a deal i couldn't pass up. Now i just gotta send back the pair that didn't fit. I ordered two pairs since Cannondale's size listing is a little wonky compared to other brands. I usually wear a size 10/44, but cannondale lists their size 10 as a 43 so i had to order a 43 and 44 to make sure. I'm sending back the 44 tomorrow. Just don't purchase them through performance since they cost $35 more for some reason...

[please excuse my non-cycling socks... i was testing them to make sure they fit with my regular socks since that's what i wear when it's too cold out...] :D

Because they're $8.

Because I couldn't help myself. I hope I like it, since Fizik doesn't have a guarantee.

I just got some of the same cages, due to Volt's uncanny ability to sniff out amazing deals.

And some:

I should just give you my chocolate Hammer gel. I can't use it as I don't ever want to use a flask again! At hemet, I accidentally left my flask in my jacket and it leaked all over the back seat of my car and I still haven't gotten it off (not sure I can!). I'm done with the whole flask thing!

It is an amazing deal - which frustrates me to no end because a) I don't need them; b) the silver accent cages are the only ones that will work on my bike and they're unavailable; and c) the red ones would look killer on Tracie's bike, but she would be annoyed if I ditched her perfectly functional alloy cages for these. She doesn't get OCP at all.

got a good deal on a handful of Michelin long stem threadless tubes at the lbs today...bought some apple cinnamon Hammer Gels for the Anderson River Park Century on Saturday..

I decided to finally try some liquid fuel, so ordered some Perpetuem from Hammer. They called me when the order shipped, and included a bunch of free samples for their new customer. Customer service done right.

Didn't like the non-setback?

Mo'Phat 05-18-07 10:45 AM

I found that the rails on the Brooks (maybe not the Swallow with it's Ti rails) don't allow enough saddle-back positioning, and I was forced to sit too far forward.

In a panic buy, thinking the Swallow might have the same issue, I decided to get the setback one. Haven't tried it yet, as they arrived Monday and I was away until this morning.

I have their Perpetuem in orange flavor. It reminds me of orange flavored vanilla ice cream popsickles, which IMO takes pretty nice when it's cold/cool.
