Hm. Found a t shirt on the Golds site with a cyclist logo but couldn't attach it.

I don't think they're doing the ride this year. They may still be in for Olive Garden, however.

Lets see...

From www.thebikebiz.com:

A pair of Velocity Deep-V rims in Eggplant Purple (32 holes, one with machined sidewalls one non-machined)

From www.speedgoat.com:

Shimano 105 front hub (32 holes)

Soma rose pink bartape

Salsa Lip-Lock 30.0mm seatpost clamp (green)

Gotta start collecting parts for my fixed gear bike sooner or later... :)

I promised myself I was going to stop trolling e-bay, but I was a Sean Kelly fan, so how could I resist this?

I'm still looking for the Primal Wear "Gears of a Clown" jersey with the evil clown on it. Once came up a few months ago but I was outbid.

Did someone say Olive Garden?

(no, we're not doing the MS ride)

BTW, SD peeps, I have a 20% off Trek SD coupon in case someone wants it. Excl bikes. labour, Garmin and on-sale Bonty wheels.

jschen 07-12-07 11:42 PM

Do they sell Powertap wheelsets? :o

DaveSANYYZ 07-12-07 11:46 PM

Yes. That's where I got mine. Zipps, Easton and custom builds.

For PT, it is more expensive than ebay though.

The hub is being laced on to a chunky set of mavic ksyrium equipe today. Which were the wheels that came with my bike. I figured I may as well put them to use, but in the future, if I find the weight unbearable, I'll either transfer the hub over to my 404's or get a nice hoop to put it on.

VanceMac 07-13-07 08:43 AM

Dang... $21.48... great price for any CSC fans out there. On steepandcheap right now.

If you're looking for an interesting hoop to lace it to, check these out...

What spoke count did you get?

24 count (seeing as I’m a lightweight I figured that would be enough)….. now don't encourage me to spend more money

Sigh, I think I was sleeping when this was available :(

DaveSANYYZ 07-13-07 11:42 PM

Got my 2nd cycling dvd. My first is a spinerval. This one is more of a vid of a mountain climb where you just ride along with some steepness indicator. Got them since I leave work pretty late and don't want to ride at night. :)

Drew12 07-15-07 03:56 PM

Purchased a CamelBak "velocity" pack. 72 oz H2O, and a couple of pockets.
I has a, get this, removable mid size saddle pack. I can take it off the pack and
attach to the seat. Pretty cool.

Now here is the catcher, I puchased this for the ROAD bike. Now I don't have to stop a replenish
the water..

So UN-OCP..... I should be ashamed...:o
