No, why? That's the second time I've been asked that in two days.

Because both of your bikes are our team color scheme. My System Six looks just like yours. I know Incycle sells the bikes to the general public, but since you have two, I thought I'd ask. Club members get them at a discount.

Slowly getting there. I guess i'll start a thread on it too when i get everything. I think all that's left to buy are pedals and a saddle (saddle isn't absolutely necessary since i have a spare already but i really really like that performance bike forte fusion saddle so i'm going to get another one for the fixie). :)

As of now I'm riding solo...

I did get the System Six in the team scheme, but my Synapse was just a basic black. There was an issue with the Synapse that Cannondale/Incycle warrantied the frame for and I could have either waited a month for a replacement from Cannondale, or take another team frame. Needless to say, I don't have that much patience (and I like the scheme anyway).

That's cool. I like it too. I do know that they have extras of the team scheme and you aren't the first that I've seen take it instead of waiting. It looks pretty pro when you own two bikes that are painted the same (especially when they are two different models of the same brand).

Actually, I'm thinking about getting a Slice TT frame in the same scheme, too. :D

On the SS, you got all excuses covered.

Too slow, " well I only have one gear"
faster than the rest, " have to keep the momentum up"
need to walk/carry bike, " can't make that grade with this gearing".

Single speed.

It came with another rear cog on the fixed side of the hub already installed. I'm not sure if I'm quite ready for fixed yet. Maybe I'll take it to the Target parking lot some morning and see what fixed is like.

just don't forget to keep pedaling.

VanceMac 07-24-07 03:40 PM

Can a single-speed group ride be far off?
