Just so you know, Sacha and I passed some guy on the Oak Hill climb, who was riding a Colnago with a triple. It's all about the engine, dude!!! :p |

For you to notice what kind of bike it was and what setup was on it - he knew you couldn't appreciate it if he was going fast!! Leave the speed to the horsies. It's about looking good and having panache!!! :p |

The jersey arrived in the mail yesterday. I got an XS and a S, figuring I'd send back the one that didn't fit. The S fits, but is baggy. I can see how trapping air between the material and skin can keep you warmer. It's more comfortable, but so are my pajamas. And all the extra fabric makes me look rather porcine. The XS fits better, closer to the skin. I prefer a race cut, but I'm not sure this jersey is meant to fit that close. Not sure how it will work if I wanted to add a warm baselayer underneath. Stuffed sausage, perhaps? Decisions, decisions... |
Well, if you post pics, we can help you decide! ;) :D

Snagged some NOS Centaur Ergo levers from Nashbar to go back on my Trek in it's incarnation as a commuter/rouring bike. $119 w/cable set :D The price bounces around randomly from day to day and I caught it at a low point. Last chance to get non-QS Centaur levers that allow you to dump multiple gears in a single throw. As of 2007 only Chorus and Record have that feature. |

Needed a smaller bag so that cars can see my blinker on my seatpost, so I got a Topeak, with the quick release mount. Now I can easily switch bags!

Very nice. New parts or are you moving all your existing components?

I've read really good reviews about the new low-profile cranks made by Fulcrum.
Are PBK groupset prices lower than GVH's? Last I checked I jumping between the two to see which one have lower prices on certain items. The PBK price for the 4000 "S" tires was exceptional - $37, but GVH had them beat on some Campy parts. |

I admire how you always seem to find things that are very unique including your Jerseys. Here is what one looks like assembled: http://www.tokenproducts.com/uploads/466698f7d0c6a.jpg |
