Easton 90SL fork. I'm sure this will make me much faster down the hill on my C'dale. :)

Soon the Cannondale will recruit the new fork to join in the plot to kill you. Run away!

What are you talking about? Christine won't kill me. :D

My "climbing" bike build (this is how I justify it) has begun:

The seat was uber expensive but I needed something really fancy :)

No pix, but a pair of Spec mtb shoes for my wife. We're gonna put Frogies on her Giant OCR. Her first clipless.

I'm looking for some Conti GP 4000 to replace my Ultrasports. Best I've found is low $40's (blue/black only). Any other sources?

Sheldon, http://www.Probikekit.com/ has the best prices on tires. GP4000 tires are currently ~$33 at this time.

I like the new GP 4000s tires myself.

Thanks, Adam. I looked at the site: $33 is a great price. I can't quite figure out the shipping cost though. What about delivery time? Their notes say it could take up to a month.

I've got one source for about $40 with free shipping. But just the blue. Wonder how those would look on my silver/grey OCR.

Thanks to Henry for posting a pic of a Lodge dutch oven on another thread, it immediately gave me an urge to spend my money on a cast iron cookware. Since I always wanted a hibachi, I found one made by the same company and decided to order one on the spot.

ProBikeKit Shipping is free to the US on most items. Heavy or large items like frames/wheels, etc. do not qualify for free shipping.... Every time I ordered I have my package within a week USPS.

I just got 3 new GP4000s tires and a new Campy Record Chain from PBK yesterday in the mail.

A week is fine. Any opinion on the blue (which they have in stock ) on my bike? They are out of black.

I don't understand how do you mount that to your bike.

DaveSANYYZ 05-22-08 08:49 PM

It's shaped like a handlebar basket to me. Nothing beats having freshly grilled meat skewers while riding.

Now that would be awesome. BBQ at the top of GMR or Mt. Baldy! :D Who's got a Burly trailer to haul the supplies up there? :p

roadfix 05-22-08 09:59 PM

Not just any BBQ. I'm talking yakitori. :D

merckx89 05-29-08 10:56 PM

A new powertap hub laced to an open pro so I dont have to keep switching wheels to race with.

Chucklehead 05-29-08 11:12 PM

So which ones are for racing?

merckx89 05-29-08 11:17 PM

I'm not sure yet. Open pro or Reynolds, Open pro or Reynolds. Oh and the front reynolds should be shipped tomorrow after over a two month wait.

Chucklehead 05-29-08 11:22 PM

I'd be afraid to use the Reynolds for crits.

merckx89 05-29-08 11:49 PM

That's what I was thinking too. Leave the open pros on for crits and have the look ready for RR and training.
