Louis Garneau lid (comfy, heavily vented in the front, the ride test will appear later)
Louis Garneau biogel gloves (the stitching went out on the last pair after using them three times)
CarBoom multiserve with flask
ViewPoint taillight (2 of them) - My last one seemed to take a beating during the Solvang spring ride when it rained on me for two and a half hours and has not worked as well since then. I am putting it on my mountain and road bikes this time as the light will not come off of the bike.

next up is a new pair of shorts or bibs and a computer...

I got my Keo Carbon CroMo from PBK. 5-days from order to delivery.

Remember to use their "kit builder" to get the extra 10% off (if applicable). One thing I didn't know is their Keo Carbon doesn't come with cleat covers that the US kit include. Getting their extra cleat+cover package w/kit builder is just like getting pedals only w/o the 10%.

Didn't realize I could have gotten perhaps 10% more off when I added the extra cleat/cover combo....

What with the no taxes and no shipping charges, though, this is going to be a pretty good deal anyway!

I have been buying up whatever 2006 Centaur or Veloce components I can find. Great deals out there and I don't care for the 2007 line very much.

Dave, I'll be sure to drag you out there. I need a ride partner for motivation sometimes.

Dropped by the LBS to bring the Roubaix and R3 in for maintenance. I got my new pump, a Specialized Air Tool Pro. It manages to handle the insanely short valve I decided to use. So I can continue to use cool-looking short valves.

No, not full retail. Still kind of expensive, but it pumped so nicely!

Voltman, isn't the Toupe like $250? I need a saddle that fits me but doesn't break the bank.

I'm going to try the one you have, Caligurl. Surf City Cyclery has a pretty good selection and I know they have that one specifically. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works for me. I am not excited to begin this saddle search!

I returned my new Hurricane floor pump to Performance and got instead a set of Panaracer tires for my road bike. Yeah, they even admitted the universal pump head is a POS and gladly gave me my money back..

Nope, a bargain at JUST $150! You can find out your size by sitting on the assometer at Surf City.

We sat on the assometer yesterday! It was more challenging for me...because of my carpal tunnel.
