I'm finding ones at Amazon that are cheaper. Yours has the extra cadence sensor. Is it worth the extra ~$65? Do Garmins need an extra cadence sensor? Do they fail often?

Hi all, GeoMan here.

The link above is for our "Biker's Bundle" which includes both an extra cadence sensor and a 12v car adapter in addition to the Edge 305 HR+CAD. We're the only folks who have packaged this together so comparing to Amazon is impossible. If you want the straight Edge 305 HR+CAD, we offer that too.

We had so many folks wanting an extra cadence sensor for a second bike that we started packaging the "Biker's Bundle" for them. No, I've not heard of a failure of the cadence sensor yet. They seem very reliable. As of this month, we've sold around 1,500 Edge 305 HR+CAD's.

Thanks for the mention here and your kind consideration too.

We ride!

Happy holidays!

The second cadence sensor is for a second bike.
As GeoMan has mentioned, that is the bundle with the extra goodies. Here is the bundle with one cadence sensor, and heart rate. Compare that to Amazon

BTW, did I mention how fast their shipping is as well?

Thanks for the info. The shipping quickness may just prompt me to get one.
