(some might argue that Jergen's or Vaseline Intensive Care would be a better option...but not me.)

Hi,

Got this off of ebay (with the left arm, of course):

It arrived in the mail today. It goes on the new bike next August.

I went to the Canari warehouse sale. I guess I should've gone there on the first day of sale, since most of the things I'm interested in doesn't come in my size (small). At the end, I picked up a short sleeve jersey for $10.

Other than that, I picked up another Tao water bottle cage from performance. Mine came off during a ride today, rolled over by a car, and both the cage and my polar bottle are gone.

fyi, I love these. Very impressive quality, fit, and pad. They are definitely the longest bibs I have ever tried on, though. If you like your bibs covering most of your thigh, PI's are your brand. If you like mid-thigh, steer clear.

Hey Cleave. Eh, no plans to race. I guess that's what most people do with cross bikes though. I just had this bug to try one out and recently scored this Redline on eBay.

I like the idea of riding TO trails... but DESPISE riding my MTB on the road for some reason. And there's lots of fire-road trails that aren't too exciting on a MTB... but seem like they'd be fun on a cross bike. Oh, it's all very theoretical at this point. I'm building it on the cheap - eBay, bro-rates, nashbar blow-outs, etc.

Yipee, my two new pairs of Rudy Projects just showed. They even threw in a free hat and a music video. The glasses fit great, the lenses seem very nice and clear.

Nobody else is out buying themselves cycling stuff?

One Polar bottle during the Performance sale.

The new ones don't seem to be as sturdy around the top cap "screw" section (thinner), and the cap itself seems cheaper... but then again, my last one got ran over by a car.

Visited the Pearl Izumi outlet store yesterday. Some good deals on prototypes (almost all size Medium), but otherwise nothing special. Picked up some PI Knee Warmers and some socks. Looking to replace my road shoes next... probably Sidi, since I know my size there.
