It looks like afternoon commitments on Saturday will require me to
ride from CSUN instead of one of the remote start rides.

Who's going to the college?
Maybe a loop over to the beach in search of cleaner air?

Hey Bob,
Are you still planning on climbing 33 tomorrow?
Where are you starting and what time?
Thanks!

Yes that's the plan. I'll start at the same Mission Park on California in Ventura where the others are starting no later than 8:30. Come on along, it's a three bottle ride into some really pretty country ie: Rose Valley.

Good ride today.
Not many came (I assume because of the fires/air) but we ended with a good size group and enjoied some light rain and good climbs. Lots of the SFVBC riders today are BFers too, and here are the photos:

Just go to our website and print out a routeslip and show up. You could do a short one first to get a feel for it. Most of us do 25-30 mile ride on Sunday with a long break to socialize.

Yep. If you can ride 10-12 miles in an hour yourself, you shouldn't have any trouble keeping up with somebody from our club on the shorter routes.

I am probably going to ride from my house and wait for the group at Foothill and Alta Canyada. That's the 21.7 mile mark, so do you think 9:15-9:30 would be a good estimate?

There is a group from Bicycle John's that is leaving from Glendale at 8:30 and heading out to Newcombs, Sue , Sarah and Lea are going.
I haven't decided where I'll start, but I'll be up there one way or another.

Bob , It's somewhere on Glendale Ave. near the 101 freeway. I'm not real sure where it is.
