Boy those pics bring back memories, while I was in college @ ASU, I worked at a ski shop in Phoenix. When I first started working there the only place to ski was the Snow Bowl up by Flagstaff. Then the Apache tribe opened up Sunrise. I skied there the first 3 seasons, only 1 chairlift at that time. Since we had to work on Saturdays, we would drive all the way up on Sunday morning, and then drive back on Sunday night. I think the drive was 4-5 hours each way.

Foggy as can be this morning! Visibility was so bad before dawn I almost turned around and headed home. Water was dripping from my helmet as if it was raining and a guy with a bike rack on his car pulled over to tell me that I was barely visible, even with all my lights and reflective gear. But as the sky started to lightened, I decided to head to the hills and voila! ....No fog!

I have to admit, sometimes my job can be pretty cool.
I couldn't ride Red Box on Saturday morning because of a photo shoot I had with this little gal. She was the sweetest thing. With an unusually calm and mellow demeanor for a young, top class filly. Her trainer said when he sits in the stall to look at her legs, she'll come over and lie down in the straw next to him.
