Nice shot Luwin! The moon to appear that size on a 35mm format (as cropped or pictured) would require at least a 300mm (or equivalent) lens. What did you use?

I've been trying to borrow different DSLR's to get a feel for which one I'd like when it comes time to take the plunge, and had the privilege of using a 1DmkII. Not sure what the correct terminology, etc. is, but this was shot with a EF 500mm F4 IS using (1.3 crop).

The boys went on a camping trip to Convict Lake this past weekend with their dad and both grandpa's. They fished, fished and fished some more. {booorrriiinggg} :p Actually, they had a blast and one of the days, they picked a spot along the Owens River and caught 23 fish between the four of them.

Their campsite was just a few steps from Convict Creek:
