This sign is so confusing. What am I supposed to do?

Simple:

Watch for wheelchairs while making a u-turn on a windy road leading to a railroad that crosses in front of a T intersection. But there's a stop ahead, and you need to choose between left and right, but one lane is merging into yours, and there's 2-way traffic before the road veers right, then makes a left-hand turn. Another lane is merging from the right, and there's a crosswalk right at the stoplight, so watch for bikes before the lane ends. Your lane then splits at a Y, and the two way undivided road is soon to be divided by a median. Your lane then goes through a tight little S turn, then a gradual S turn right before the pavement ends. Yield, then look for another T intersection crossing over a railroad track, right near a 4-way intersection, followed by a T intersection and a man doing the moonwalk.

dddave:

The snake was actually alittle local gopher snake that just couldn't make it across the highway. We saw many along he way. Mostly gophers. Some garters (even one alive!), a ringneck but no rattlers.

Went sailing yesterday from Marina Del Rey, good times. Too much drinking made for a dehydrated ride today though, alas....

Changing the subject... ;) Here are 3 images from being out this weekend. See if you can ID them. The First is from my Sunday ride, I crest the hill and found this bike trail to rest on, the second is from my favorite MTB trail - called Blair Witch (yes there is a trail there), and the 3rd was from Sunday evening...

Modblog is one of my favorite daily diversion websites. It features tattoos, piercings, and much more extreme body modifications (it is not for the squeamish, or the judgmental). That guy has been featured on the site.

Mo'Phat 08-06-07 08:16 AM

That guy might regret that someday...

ps. What does he do for a living? I'm guessing Preschool teacher, right?

I suspect he's going to regret it when he's 50.

With the lifestyle that goes with that tat he won't live long enough to regret it.

By the way he is a motivational speaker....

What motivation does he provide? (i.e. what's his slant?)

ggallin 08-06-07 02:01 PM

Do what I say or I will see you in your dreams!

If you saw him cycling up behind you wouldn't you be motovated to go faster..........

Mo'Phat 08-06-07 02:33 PM

I'd probably point and laugh. It's fun to laugh at people who can't change what you're laughing at.

ronjon10 08-06-07 02:37 PM

If I had kids, I'd show them that picture and tell them this is what they'll look like if they don't eat their vegetables.

 And if they don't clean their room, do their homework, wash behind their ears...so many ways THAT face could be used.

And, yes, Mo, I'd laugh too. I don't judge tattoos or piercings (the gals at my hair salon yesterday had their ears streched out with discs in them...ewwwwwwwwww. But, hey, they were both 21 and I guess that's the new thing.) But one can go too far and just look stupid. This guy here is an example of that, IMO.
