James - that area is dear to me as I used to live right across the street from MOCA / next to Disney Concert Hall at 255 S. Grand in the high-rise. I remember watching the Concert Hall garage being built, then construction came to a halt as they ran out of funding, then continued after a long hiatus. For a long while I came home thinking to myself often - what a big waste of a nice garage. :p Then the Concert Hall shot up, and it all made sense to me.

Shoulda called me next time - Curry House on me!!

That area is a lot of fun to just wonder, and watch, and shoot. Those pics were from a couple of years ago though, shortly after the Concert hall opened. But, next time I'll be sure to hit you up for that curry. :D

Your pics are awesome - you have a great eye. There are some things that can't be bought no matter if you have a crazy SLR with blinging lenses - the eye behind it is what's important.
