Registration is still open for the Solvang Double. Go to: www.planetultra.com. Fing a place to stay is another problem, try Lompoc or Santa Maria.

I just reserved a room at one of the Best Westerns in town 5 minutes ago. I had to go to their website, however.

As much as I love the Solvang ride and as much as I need to shatter my personal best there, I don't think I'll make it this year.

The idiot within me is sort of contemplating this ride. However the Planet Ultra site is slow/unresponsive. Perhaps that is a sign. :rolleyes:

Damn - the hotel I'm staying at still has room (Vagabond Inn), but they must have figured out there's a ride. I got it for just over $100 per night - now it's $239 for a VAGABOND INN!!!:eek:
