Is he a bike rider? Were his lips moving? You believe him? No, he's right the ride this afternoon was nice. The temps and winds weren't bad at all, now if just stays like that. We did see rain in the Mammoth Lakes area, but it was late afternoon.

FYI - According to weatherbug it only got down to 61 last night and it's already (and it feels quite warm).

Armwarmers/legwarmers/baselayers may not be necessary.

As long as those "intermittent thundershowers" stay away, I'll be happy!

What are you two going to to do today up there? Ride or just hang out at the local pub?

I think we are pre-riding the course. We’ll leave around noon and be back by 3 maybe 4 if we stop for a beer along the way. I really don’t know what we’re doing for the day, we’re going for a short easy ride a little later. Other than that it’s just laying around the pool and taking it easy, maybe I can work Starbucks in they’re next door. ME, I wish you were here I could use some arm candy!

Whenever he comes and gets me. We're leaving this afternoon sometime...he has that pesky work thing that gets in the way sometimes. I'm filling my iPod with lotsa tunes...this is going to be a long and lonely ride!

Yeah, you'd get arm candy with me wearing my zinc paste and mismatched jersey. But secretly, I do wish I was there. Oh, well, next year perhaps...

That work thingy gets in the way of everything! Are you guys gonna check in tonight with Planet Ultra, or are you doing it in the AM?

Ya, that’s when you’re riding. I talking about hanging out and walking around town.

Oh, that's what I meant too. By the way, how long a drive was it?

I agree, you do have a nice Assos, is that how you spell it. I’ve never put the "os" on the end. It took me just under 4 hours to get here, but remember I started in Bakersfield. I can't believe it, it's cooler in Bakersfield than here in Bishop.

You know, sigh, I'm going to have to change my title again. I'm not saying that I have nice Assos, because I don't own any (too much $$) - but rather it is what I'm thinking aloud when riding behind a rider with nice Assos.

I was curious about the drive because I've heard some say it is long and others say not so bad. But four hours is really not too shabby!

I've said this on here repeatedly, if you are MARRIED, I see a blurry dot over your Assos, blocking it from view.
