Stuck in the Vegas
We were supposed to leave last night, but car broke down about 20 miles outside of town. Now we're back at the show(interbike). It's like freaking groundhog day. What should we do? It's hot and we have no place to stay yet. Where do we get the good hookers?

Oh noes. Is it you and chuckles? Just make sure you get back before next week. I need him on 508.
Oh...and get in touch with Asia. Maybe she'll hook you up. Not with hookers, but something to do.

The cross race truly was the best...we had the spot right at the top of that climb. You could see the pain and agony up close and personal

No hookers. Just Joseph.
Must be fun to be stuck in Vegas when you're underage.

That appears to be the case. I told Jason to sneak out after the kid falls asleep. Sorry Joseph!

Yeah, there was a pretty good size crowd - but I sure wish they would start it a little bit earlier. I think it ended around 11:30pm.

I was right down the hill from you, just down from the trp brake zone. I was the one with wife, baby and stroller...

Last text from Jason last night:
I don't have the kind of money I'd need to get the kind of hooker I deserve after a week like this.

True story. When I was a kid I asked my dad what a hooker was.
He told me it was a fisherman. This story saved him some embarrasment
but I got the crap beat out of me at the pier.

I'll let Jason go into a little bit more detail than me because he had the worse end of it, but were home finally and still alive, but no hookers. Unfortunately we didn't have internet until now, so this is the first chance we've had to read the thread.

I was at Interbike all week. Monday we set up the booth structure, Tuesday the signage, bike racks and lights. Wed. -Thur. - Fri. was the Show, talking to dealers and distributors from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM every day, then taking big distributor customers to dinner.
Yeah, great food, but not back to my room until 10:30 so very little sleep. We were next to the Hincapie booth, so I got to see George for a micro-second. And Phil Leggit, but no other celebs.
Finally got home Sat. afternoon and went to bed pretty quick, . . . slept 13 hours! Interbike is lots tougher than a double century. Plus, I hate Las Vegas. Too much smoke, a total waste of money town. I wish Interbike was somewhere (anywhere, almost) else.
Hookers? Who has time for hookers? Although, if you do, the girls from Olympic Gardens work part time for big $ (not that I have personal experience you understand, but it was offered on the cab ride home. Was the cabbie the pimp? Dunno, not my area of expertise).
Did I mention I hate Las Vegas?
