I am out. Still coughing up hairballs from a touch of the plague earlier this week.

Ahh man, and I was really looking forward to riding with the queen of france. Hope you feel better Dan. I might be out as well, 50/50. The weather is still looking pretty nasty and I'm lagging on things I have to get done this weekend. Been feeling icky all week too. I guess that means I'll just suffer more on the hills.

So Ian, what's the word?

Something tells me we won't really know until tomorrow AM. Just like this morning, in the north county, it was clear for a couple hours (yeah, quick ride), then it started raining.

So far, 3 out of 4 weather forecasts calls for light showers in the early morning but then cloudy the rest of the day. So for now, it's still on. However, everyone can make there own call. I'll be there unless it seriously downpours. I'll check the forecast again at 10pm.

I just cheked the forecast on weather.com and on https://forecast.weather.gov/. Both sites say rain before 9:00 AM, then cloudy, then rain agian in the afternoon. I've got my bike in the car ready to go, but I'll decide tomorrow morning. Might be wiser for me to stay closer to home.
Hey Dan, hope you are feeling better.

It's raining. I'm going back to bed.

Or maybe not. There's a lot of clear sky. Maybe I'll wait a little longer.

Okay... it's still raining here in La Jolla. I'm calling the ride off. We'll try again another weekend.

That's pretty much what I said. Except the part about waiting. The sinus headache pretty much said it's a day in bed for me.

Ian and I ended up riding from SB to the Red Trolley crit to watch the 5s and 4s. Little cool and breezy on the way back.

I was too lazy to turn the computer on this morning and the weather didn't look bad at all here, so I drove my sorry arse all the way to Solana Beach. After winning the wuss-of-the-month award for January I thought I'll win the February title hands down, but now I see I've got some serious competition. It was nice and mostly sunny in SB, but since nobody else came I drove back to OC. When I got home, it started sprinkling a little, so I put my bike back in the garage like a wise man. In retrospect, I think canceling the ride was a good decision. Any plans for re-scheduling?
Hey Rob, hope you are feeling better bro.

I got out a little after 10, rode down to Torrey, then back up to San Elijo. I got rained on for about 2 minutes on PCH. It didn't rain hard on the coast until later.

Probably not until March. It's going to rain again this weekend, next weekend is the Tour of Cali. I'm shooting for March 1st right now.

I'm doing the Gran Fondo so I'll miss out on the 1st, but I'll think of you guys as I drag myself up the hill to Alpine.

GR8! I'll be hibernating for the rest of this month but March looks good for me except for the weekend of 21-22.
Enjoy the Grand Fondo on the 1st.

I might bring out again after Mulholland maybe the 18,19 or 25,26. For me, it just depends on how much I can get down (hills) before Breathless.

How about June 27th, since the first one was schedule on the same day as Red Trolley, this one can be schedule on what was supposed to be the date of Green Trolley.

28th is better for me but I could probably make the 27th. It'll be my last ride before I get a real job.
