I'll commit to stay with slowest if they want to go and just don't know their potential. We can fight off the coyotes and bears together.

It's Boulder Springs Road in Glendora.

It's the only traffic signal on Glendora Mountain Road. Glendora Mountain Road is off of Sierra Madre and Boulder Springs is a short distance (1/4 mile approx.) from Sierra Madre on Glendora Mountain Road.

Or . . . you can park on Glendora Mountain Road and ride up to Boulder Springs.

Yes, this ride is still happening! I just posted a reminder on facebook and was going to put a reminder here too . . . but you already did!

See you Sat. evening at Boulder Springs. I'll be wearing OCRR kit, riding a black GURU w/NiteRider lights, driving a dark green Miata.

I may be a surprise show for this. The stars should be amazing tonight and tomorrow with the santa ana's blowing in nice dry clean air. Will need to see if the wife is good taking on the nightly rituals of the children first.

I have a beefy light I used for the death valley double.

I'm actually thinking of doing this. Based on my performance to the Village. Will there be any other ladies?

Well I thought eveybody had fogotten about this ride. Since Gina can't ride tomorrow morning, I figure we will give it a try.

I only have one light so I will give it to here (front and rear). I'll let her use it and then I'll follow along (with ankle reflectors) since my skills are a bit better than hers. Should be a nice night so hopefuly plenty of sunliiiii, errr moonlight.

Trying to get Alyce too. Seems she fogot about it too so hopefully they will decide tonight to tag along.

But we will be far behind those OCRRick and JMX race types.

No worries Beanz, I have an extra set of lights and I'll bring them so you can use them for this ride.

I got a second light, small but it works. I'll be good!

Wife said she's good to put the kids to bed. I'll probably go an hour or two early and ride up to the shack once on my own and try to be back down at the bottom at 6 to meet you guys for the ride up. If I'm a little late I'll just catch you as I come down and turn around. 13 days since I've been on a bike. I need some riding!

I bet cyclists are ok, like every other time they close the road (when things aren't on fire).

One could have easily done this ride without lights last night as the almost full moon was more than enough on the way up and all the bright lights on the different bikes on the way down, lit up the road as if there had been cars behind us. As far as your having been off the bike for a while, that is the perfect time to do a nice climb to get back on the saddle. Last night was the first ride in over 4 months for me(GMR June 19), but it felt great to be up in the mountains on the bike again. Everyone that missed this ride lost out on a great time. It was nice meeting new people too, even if I couldn't see most of them. Will have to check out Beanz's pictures to see who was there.
