SHIPPING (if needed):
(US only) - $13 (medium flat rate box will fit most orders) US Shipping will be sent via USPS Priority after we receive the entire order.
Pickup available in the La Crescenta/N. Glendale area
DETAILS:
- Jersey manufacturer: ChampSys
- Jerseys are Race Cut and have full front zipper and 3 rear pockets.
- All sizes are available: xs, s, m, l, xl, 2xl, 3xl, 4xl SIZE CHART - ChampSys' sizes run a little small, so please use the sizing chart!
- Expected delivery – 6 to 8 weeks from the date I put in the entire order (I will update you on dates asap). All the items will be ordered at the same time.

ORDERING:
If you would like to order, email Herb with what you would like along with your size(s) and your shipping address.

PAYMENT:
Once we tally up your order, we will send you the total owed. We will accept checks and cash from our friends. Friends of friends (ie people Herb and I don't know, can either pay via Paypal (adding 3% to their bill to cover the Paypal charge) or cash). If we get enough orders for the items with “minimums”, then I will order them! Regardless, you will know when we will give you the total amount owed for your order.

No cancellations after the order with Champsys is made – once I order, it’s a done deal!

DEADLINE:
I plan on putting the FINAL ORDER IN on Friday 9/20 at 12PM PST! The sooner I get your order, the sooner I can tell everyone what items can be ordered, so please hurry!!

If you have any questions, feel free to email or PM.

Please read all this first:

* Please read and follow the order directions with care.
* We will update you to confirm your order.
* Please check back a little while after you email order and make sure it's right

* The design is the design, I can't make any changes, no matter how small, without starting the whole process over again with new minimum orders and everything.
* Check the sizing chart.
* This process takes longer than you think, waiting for orders, having them made, getting them shipped. Don't expect this to be like a real store. Like over 6 weeks after I order to get them to send out.
* For PAYPAL Payments, please add 3% to your total to cover their fees.
* Sales tax may be added, which we will let you know.
* Emailing us is fine, but your final order is official with the Paypal, cash or check that we receive.
* I'm doing this for fun - not profit or anything else. I just want to have a cool looking kit! Don't you??
* Orders close on September 20 at Noon! Don't send money after that!
* Outside the contiguous US? Email or PM Herb and we'll work out postage. It will be more.

Fine print:
This is a not-for-profit effort. One of my personal goals is to not end up being out of pocket in doing this.
Because of that, I have no room for error. I can't make refunds or changes to completed orders. I can't change sizes after I place the order.
This entire process will take a while. The company takes a about 6 weeks to make them.

Kit design is here:
https://www.filmvideo.com/SoCal_Kits_pic.jpg

With all who have told me they are ordering, we should have the minimum order for the jerseys and shorts/bibs. With that minimum met, we can also order jackets and windbreakers with no minimum. As for the accessories, there is just one small stipulation – the following items have a minimum order of 10 (which means I need to have a TOTAL of 10 orders of each item before I can order the item – for example, I would need 10 orders of gloves before I can order any gloves, etc.):
-Gloves (I highly recommend ordering two pairs)
-Arm Warmers
-Leg Warmers
-Shoe Covers
-Tech Hat and Baseball Cap (NEW! )
-Shirt (NEW!)

So for these items, let us know you want and after we tally up all the orders, we'll send you notice of what we can order (what minimums were reached) and your total $.

The list of climbs on the pockets is badly biased towards north LA & San Fernando Valley. I don't recognize all names, but it seems to me that only one climb in the whole list (Mt Palomar) is south of I-10. It's especially blatant since Santa Monica Mountains are covered with extreme attention (I don't think you've missed a single named climb, you even have both Piuma and Stunt), San Gabriel Mountains east of the Grapevine have 5 (that I can recognize), San Bernardino Mountains have 2 (Oak Glen and Onyx Summit), San Jacinto Mountains (east Riverside County) and Santa Ana Mountains (Orange County / Riverside County) are not present at all.

This was created some time ago and I don't think there was much input at that time? https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...Cal-Riders-Kit I totally agree but there is no time to change that now. Maybe a new design with different (hardest climbs) listed down the road...

Herb, thank you for doing this.

I want to oder a short sleeve jersey but the link to the sizing chart and fabric choices does not work.

Also, Figueroa Mountain was misspelled on the jersey.

Let me know about the link to size and fabric charts.

Cheers,

EJA

The designer selected the climbs he knew and did...yes its biased, sorry....I would like to see Rice and Couser Cyn in there among others.
Sorry, it wont change at this time, possibly down the road. And yes we know there are spelling errors...

I'm not sure how the minimums would affect your interest in redesigning but I'm interested either way.

That is what the designer told me??? It would definitely slow the entire process down and we would like to get the kits soon.
Please let me know what you are interested in!
thanks

I'll be interested in one short sleeved 3/4 zip jersey whether you choose to NOT redesign it or whether you choose to wait to get a rework in there. . I'll pony up the dinero early next week. Come to think of it I may have to get one for my son too.

I still haven't figured out which iteration of the jersey I want because it's dizzying. I have CS Tech jersey now that's entirely satisfactory so I'll probably do that again.

I know...so may choices... I am sticking with the standard as that's what I know...

You sure you don't want full zip?
