I am just curious if anybody knows of any centuries near Phoenix in late August or early September. I know there will be nothing in Phoenix, because people would burst into flames about 20 miles into the ride. So I'm thinking about a ride semi close to AZ like California, Utah, Colorado or something in the general southwest region.

There might be some EL Tour de Tucson training rides around that time. I think that is about the time that GABA starts their training rides.

The organized ride I can think of is in Oct (The Tumacacori Century).

Wow a century at 7000+ ft would be pretty epic

I've done it the last six (?) years running and can attest to the fact that the Taylor House is an awesome ride both in terms of the course and how well it's supported.
