Congratulations.
I only hope my wife has to suffer through another 33.5 years (bringing us to the 35 year mark) with me.

Congratulations, Rudy & Kay! Those are indeed some awesome milestones! My wife and I have 25 years of tandeming and 35 years of marriage, so provided we reach our mid-70s while staying healthy, we'd reach 45 years of tandeming together. Wow....I'd be very happy with that!
I meant to ask you something; my wife and I travel between Phoenix and Green Valley at least once a year and was wondering if you might like to ride together sometime around Tucson. Now that we have a tandem with couplers, it'll be much easier to take the bike along on our trips. Anyway....just curious.

This household says way to go!!!!!!!!
While we have many years together, it's quite a ways for us to reel you guys in. We'll need 30½ for the anniversary stuff, and about the same in regards to the tandem.
I'm sure it's been asked, but care to share what you consider your best tandem ride or adventure in all those 35 years would be. I'm thinking a his and hers reply would be a fine reply for me.

Thanks for all the nice kudos!
It is difficult to pick our 'best' tandem adventure in the past 35 years!
But several vie for that title:
A 200 miles loop by the Grand Canyon (with forest fire raging on both sides of the road during a so-called 'controlled burn').
2-day tour by north rim of the Grand Canyon (snow on the ground in shady parts and 70 degrees!) and 127 deer!
In 1995 when the Tour of the Tucson Mountains was dedicated to us.
And a bunch of tandem rallies ranging from the east to west coast, and Canada to Florida.
In the meantime, we're still making memories.
One regret about our marriage: Shoud've married that girl sooner!
Pedal on!

Congratulations Rudy and Kay,
Ginny and I will be celebrating 2 years tandeming and 47 years married.
Should have bought a tandem sooner.
