If minor bumps are causing flats in a short number of miles, that is consistent with the tube/ bead not being seated correctly, and then flatting on the first impact.
Given that your Rolfs are very likely narrower rims than your previous wheels, they are going to be more sensitive to getting the tube properly under the bead when you put the tires on?
If you aren't already, try installing the tire with your hands only, no tire irons, and carefully working around the rim checking that the tube is not extending out past the tire bead before you inflate them.
Another thought is check you rim strip. If its not seated correctly, then you can be getting the flatting from that.

I tend to agree with merlinextraligh. The whole time I was reading throught this thread, I was thinking, you are chasing the wrong culprit. Many teams including those heavier than you use the same tires without the pinch flat problem you describe. I was thinking, either you are not being careful to avoid the sharp edges that cause pinch flats, you have burrs on your rim, or you are not installing the tire/tube correctly. Since you are not new to tandem riding, I would doubt that the first option was likely, leaving the latter two as highly probable. Like merlin, I suspect you have not been seating your tube in the tire correctly or you are using a tool to install your tire. Changing brands of tires or tubes will not fix this. Look for burrs on the inside of your rim. If you find none, re-examine your tire mounting methodology. Sorry if this sounds condescending, but I don't have any intentions to insult anyone - just trying to get to the root of your problem.

Responding to Joe,
This time was glass, actually, so unrelated to past pinch flats, and on front wheel instead of rear where the others have been.
