9 Speed Chain Recommendation

I need to replace the timming chain and the regular chain on my Co-motion. The chain on there is a KMC but I don't know which one it is. I want a good strong chain. Any recomendations? Thanks in advance.

KMC X9.93 is a great for price/performance.

KMC X9SL for lighter weight and 3X the price.

We have had good mileage out of Shimano XT level 9 speed chains.

We use KMC 9SL. If $$ is an issue, you can use a cheaper chain for timing chain.

We run the same chain for drive and timing. Only need one set of spare bits to fix either. We've been using Shimano HG93 chains. I order when I see a good price. Just ordered 4 from JensonUSA, thanks for the reminder. It is said that Shimano rings work best with Shimano chains.

VERY happy with KMC chains. As mentioned above, in 9 speed, try the KMC X9.93. We have used this chain for a couple of years and like it. Notably smooth and quiet. I'm saving pennies to buy the 10 speed SL version in red. Yum.
