I'll be getting a new Continental Ultra Sport for the front, to match the rear wheel and emphasize the all black theme of the bike. But for now, I just wanted to get the picture up.

And finally my commuter, although now I can't commute because I'm in outside sales...

Attachment 65930Hello Everyone!
I ride and live in Conroe (Montgomery County).
Here I am making a left onto the right lane!
Then there's three tires in this pic but only two are rolling! The other one's around my waist and It's slowly going away!
Next I'm leading the pack uphill (it was a short one and not too steep!)
Finally my chubby cheeked mug. Hopefully by this summer it won't be so chubby!!
My ride:
'07 Specialized Allez Expert
Full Ultegra Gruppo
Shimano R600 Wheelset
Look KeO classic pedals

My new all weather commuting only bike. (the xtracycle is too heavy and too wind affected for commuting long distance, or I'm too much of a wimp)

My newest. No Name yet. The Shimano stuff is just placeholding, its all Centaur.

I have been hanging around here since about February and just realized there's a Texas section. If you see some combination of the following, chances are it's me. I live in Waxahachie.

This is the Gios fixed gear/ss. I have a Gios Compact Pro road bike that looks just like it.

This is the Pedal Force RS2.

I just noticed this sticky and reailzed I never had posted to it. The photos below have all been posted at some time or another, though.
This is me and my main bike, the Worksman cruiser:

This is the Worksman front-loader tricycle. I rode this at the Richardson Wild Ride and will plan to have it at Tour Dallas next year, maybe a few other rides:

This is the Arpan low gravity (ie, low center of gravity due to small front wheel) bike, which you won't see me on too often:

And finally, the Torker LX 20" unicycle:

Here's my bike, a Nishiki Olympic 12, that I've had since I bought it new in the mid-80s:

It has sat around for years but I recently started commuting. I bought a new helmet, and six days later I broke it the hard way, going over the handlebars and doing a faceplant onto concrete.

The bike was pretty trashed too. Note that the front wheel is actually interfering with the downtube:

Luckily I walked away from the accident, although the swelling in my jaw gave me an underbite for a few days. I managed to bend the fork straight. The thing you can't see in the picture is that the downtube is actually buckled just behind the fork tube.
I've been trying to figure out what to replace it with. I was eyeing some expensive bikes, but found this baby for $100:

Another Nishiki, this one is an XRS Sport Hybrid. I found out that an older lady in my church had some bikes for sale and took a look. I passed on the old 3-speed Raleigh, but this Nishiki still had the PRICE TAG on it! And the nubs on the tires too! The story behind it is that her daughter-in-law's father bought it because he got it for a good price (original tag: $379, sale: $319, further discount: 25% off lowest tag price = ~$240). He passed away and the d-i-l gave it to the lady in my church who was going to donate it to the church garage sale. I know it's at least 7 years old because Nishiki stopped production in 2001. But it's brand new. Cool.

Oh... one more pic of me that's bike-related. This one was taken about 25 years ago. I can't even remember what kind of bike that is. I call this my "beefcake shot":
