I go to the art institute so I commute to school and it's on yorktown and san felipe. I'm coming from wirt and westview other side of the 10.

Going down chimney rock once you pass up memorial there is no more bike lane until you hit san felipe
and the road sucks right before you hit woodway. Down voss there is no bike lane and there is even a no bikes on the road posted up- that's until you hit woodway as well if i'm not mistaken.
Using my Houston Bikeways Map dated Oct '04 I went to Bikely and drew out a route for you that is all bike routes of one kind or another. Most of it is shared lane with traffic, but at least if someone yells at you, you can point at the bike route sign. It's sorta round about but it's only about 6 miles. Nothing a tough bikin' skatebordin' chica can't handle. All Bike Route Commute

Looks like a good route to me. Don't make us come out there and ride this route with you, Chaba.

NICE!
Writing it down on my forearm so I can go ride it.
Thanks a ton Tex_Arcana.
Yeah 6 miles isn't a lot. I do a total of 30 when I go to the gym.
6 is good though before school I don't like sitting through a lecture
all sticky and stinky (not that I stink. Because I don't at all. )
