That is high level and commits you to Campy cassette if that's what you want. What dropout spacing do you need? I'd be inclined to go with this

Bikeman Quality Wheels Value XL Rear Wheel 700c Shimano 135mm Hub / Velocity NoBS Rim, Raw, 36 hole

is there any particular disadvantage to campy beyond the fact that i can't index (which i don't do anyway)? why are you inclined toward the wheel you linked? thanks.

I will jump in on this. I built up a road bike with Campy because it was the classic look I wanted. But I would not consider using Campy on a touring bike because most shops do not stock Campy parts, ie. cassettes. We rode cross country last year and I took time to stop in a lot of shops, as I work PT in our LBS. Not one had Campy stuff on the shelf.
Shimano for touring save the Campy for riding close to home!

For something selling in the SF bay area the $200 price is pretty cheap ..

As TT says On actual tours If you have trouble with you Campag equipped bike no small town bike shops will have any Campag Parts.

they all have to be Special Ordered .

Out here, the LBS in my town calls the next 'big' town down the coast,

and our colleagues place the special Order, and get overnight shipping, to have it in hand 2 or 3 days later when the rider gets there ..
