I have a question for the folks here who already cycled Europe, was it difficult to find campsites meaning, do you have to book campsites ahead of time, or you can just pop into a campground and ask for a night to stay? and what was the biggest challenge you faced while cycling in Europe?
Why am I asking these, well I am doing fact finding and preparation for an European trip going from Amsterdam to Italy. I do know there are many websites with information, but I'd rather ask the very cyclists who have experienced those trips. such as Language barriers, daily costs, transportation issues, etc etc.
I appreciate all of your fantastic pictures as I scrolled down through this thread and it made me want to just drop everything and just go.
