need help packing for a multi day trip.

Hello,
Me and my friend are going to take a 700km trip from Stockholm to Copenhagen. We have never done a trip this long before and therefore can't decide on a trunk bag.
We're aiming to ride it in 6 to 7 days and we want to pack as light as possible. We will bring a small two person tent and NO cooking equipment I think i only want a trunk bag (3 piece bag). Based on this criteria, how many liters should the bag be? can i survive on a 35Liter trunk bag?

Thanks,
Sebastian.

The touring section should be able to help you out.

Individuals vary widely in terms of how many clothes, electronics, tools, etc. they feel they need to take to be comfortable. I'd suggest getting together all the things you plan to take, go through them carefully to eliminate things you won't really need, and only then decide on what bags you need to carry what's left.

Gather all the equipment and supplies you know you will need and put it into a rectangular carton then measure the volume used. If you really are traveling very light with minimal gear, a small backpack might be large enough and can be supplemented with a handlebar bag in necessary.

Take a hint from backpackers and repack common items that you might have bought with cardboard packaging. Items like toothbrushes can be cut in half. Be sure you make clothing do double duty so you can't carry more clothing than you need but don't scrimp on cycling shorts so you will always be able to have clean cycling shorts, otherwise you run the risk of pimples or cysts developing.
