Bikepacking Colombia Day 2-3

Hi everyone, thought i'd share my post here from my most recent trip bikepacking Colombia. While it was a failed trip it was an amazing experience all the way. We spent 5 days on our bikes traveling from Armenia to Bogota. While we didn't make it into Bogota, each city and town nested in between was an incredible experience. The people, the food, the locations. I hope you all enjoy it and subscribe to my site for more bicycle touring and bikepacking stories like these.

Thanks for posting. After reading your previous posts, I was curious how your tour went. Sounds like it was quite an adventure on trails and paths. I read your blog and it sounds like it was easy to take your bike on the bus from Bogota to Armenia. I might return to Colombia in a few months, but I'd be doing road touring, not mountain biking.

Thank you! Not fully mentioned but... getting the bikes on the bus was a bit of a hassle. We had to tip the driver off as the bags were big and cumbersome. My friends tire exploded when he was taking his from wheel off. He was flipping out and tosses his bike which didn't help us much as he caused a scene. I controlled the situation by positive attitude and suggesting that we get a tire at a bike shop in Armenia. We then loaded our bikes and were good to go. We ended up just putting a BS card near his tear in Armenia bus station. and then put an inner tube in there and rode to the local bike shop and got it fixed. The local shop there was sick! They're a Specialized dealer shop but have other bikes as well.

Thanks for tuning in

Puzzled by the “sleeping bag rolls down the hill” thing.

Any reason you didn’t go retrieve it ?
