Resolution to a prior thread
Just figured I would let everyone know how a prior thread resolved.
My wife and I wanted to get travel bikes for touring. I once asked the forum for advice between couplers and a folding bike. Slip in a knee injury and recovery and we finally made up our minds ...
... we just got two Bike Friday folding bikes. The final deciding factor was the ability to fold the bikes within a rental car. We thought that the ride of the small-wheeled bikes were pretty good and the price was comparable to a lot of the steel-coupled bikes.
We joined Adventure Cyclist for the additional 5% discount on the Bike Fridays.
