Continental "Touring Plus" tires - Any experience?

Picked up a set today. Before I put asphalt to them, wondering others experience with them. Impression is they're well made, but *heavy* (800g) . Compared against the Schwalbe looks like there's only about 10g difference though. My LBS carries Continental, has to order Schwalbe...

Thanks!

Conti tyres are the best in my opinion, and these look like similar the the 'Schwalbe Marathon Plus'. But they should be better as they are Continentals

The will be harder to push than a regular kevlar-layer or plain rubber tyre, but if you are cursed with frequent punctures, they could be the cure.

G'day

Can't comment on the tyre itself as have no experience with them and haven't heard from others either, but I did note that Cotinental make some pretty strong claims, such as "Stones, glass splitters and thorns have no chance. Whatever you ride over can't break or pierce the Security Breaker layer underneath the tread" so I guess they have some faith in the product.

i just rode my touring bike (with these tires) in a couple inches of snow and ice and they fared well. way better than the marathons, imo.
