Trek 520 frame 1984!

I scored a 1984 Trek 520! I now have my winter project build and it is only August. I am excited to get off the cyclocross bike. The fuji is great but at well over 12000 miles in the last two years I would like to give it some r&r

First tour frame and I am stoked.

12000 miles is a very young bike. Don't put it out to pasture yet.

Nice find! I found an 84 Specialized Expedition and am currently working on building it up. I was set to be done by August, but ended up taking a 33% cut in pay. That slowed me right down. Hope to have it done before spring, maybe even sooner so I can commute on it. Have fun.

That looks almost identical to the one I inherited from my dad. Too bad my dad is about 6 inches shorter than I am and the frame was stored outside for years so it's in pretty miserable shape

That's a nice find, enjoy it.
