All right ... we have an Easter Plan!! We're off to Chiltern, up near the New South Wales border, on Thursday where we will camp for five nights. From Chiltern we will cycle out in different directions on a "hub and spoke" tour.

We had hoped to do a tour from our doorstep over the 5 days we have off, but there's nothing available in the way of accommodations anywhere around. I guess that's the problem with living right next to a State Park, a hop-skip-and-jump from several fairly large National Parks, on the edge of the wine region, and generally in a touristy area on a very, very popular camping long weekend.

All done.
405km in two days. 235 day one(uphill!) in just over 10hrs ride time, and 170 today(downhill) in just under 7hrs. Great weather, stunning NZ scenery and the easter traffic mayhem was elsewhere.

Congrats!! That's a fair distance each day.

Rowan and I are on our hub-and-spoke tour. Yesterday was a 86 km spoke up to Rutherglen and Corowa (across the Murray River and into NSW). Today was a 75 km spoke to Wodonga and back which turned out to be a whole lot more challenging than we'd planned.

I've started a collection of photos here, and will be adding more as the holiday continues:
