Sabotaged

I was hoping to go for a week long tour up to North Carolina this spring to visit a friend that moved up there. But 2 things have gotten in the way. Jasmine, my biking buddy dog had to have surgery last week and for the next 6 weeks, at least, she needs physical therapy. The other is the weather. It's been in the high 80's, low 90's for a week now. Spring skipped us! And it's not like it's just hot (which I love), it's also humimd (which I hate). Aaaarrrggggghhh!

Well, good luck getting the tour done in some form.
And best good luck to Jasmine. My mom lost her companion of 13 years this morning. I can't wait to get home and spread a little love among my own little pack o' critters.

last year's 50th birthday plan to stay at a light house and photograph whales from the beach in a remote spot where they come close enough to the beach to hear them breath and see their eyes got lampooned when my current spouse broke her knee cap while out with her girlfriends. ruined my whole spring and ate up 2 weeks of vacation time. she heeled up fine. such is life.

I still got 2,000 miles of riding in last spring and summer. do what you can where you can! :-)

Yup, I live an hour south of you in McDonough, and this heat is a KILLER. Lucky for us, after today the weather is supposed to turn more seasonal.
