In one of the CrazyGuy journals I followed, a Trans Am cyclist used a Dog Dazer with some success.

I get chased so much it would be a real hassle to contact all the dog owners. So far, the Halt has worked every time. The water-bottle-in-the-face trick didn't always work. In fact, it almost caused me to crash. I would go armed if it was legal in Illinois.
