I can do one-leg drills on my BMX platforms with Vans on.

Need to start out with both legs to get going but after that I can keep it up no problemo.

CJ_Clyde, While devotees of every type of pedal can debate the virtues of their chosen design, it's a personal preference. If you're going to try platforms something grippy with a large enough platform to support a non cycling shoe are the only suggestions I can make.
