Touring Documentary/Stuff

Me and two of my friends are going to try and make a documentary about bicycling across the US. Not exactly 'about' that, but that's what we're going to be doing, I suppose it is going to be about life and all of that...... Any tips? My biggest struggle is trying to figure out a way to store the video while we are on the road, we can't have an unlimited supply of memory cards, that's too expensive.

We also made a kickstarter page:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...erica?ref=live

Please let me know what you think, and any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I have a from from England who is doing a trans AM plus Canada and Alaska who is also filming. His name is Dave. You might consider contacting him. Www.vaguedirections.com

do you have a route yet? If you come through nj at all, let me know.

That link didn't work, I would like to see how this Dave fella is doing. I think using an external HD will be the cheapest and easiest as long as it isn't destroyed. Or I may just toss the whole idea and not make a movie about it. Thoughts like:

"You ought to write a book on wines, count."
"Mr. Barnes," answered the count, "all I want out of wines is to enjoy them."
