Sarah Hammer won the gold in the 3000m individual pursuit.

It was my first time at the ADT center, and I was very impressed. An interesting view is looking down on the bank on turn one ... it was pretty cool to watch the points race from there, seeing them climb the bank at high speeds.

Becky spent a lot more time chasing down breaks and closing gaps than the two National Team girls did-- she was working hard the whole time. They helped some, but don't seem to have the track experience to be working into position all the time. A lot of times she seemed to be doing more work than she needed to, chasing down groups that were going to get brought back anyway, but in the short interview with Eddie over at FGF she said she expected a break to go and take a lap, so she was working to make sure she was there. She also did a great job of getting into position before every sprint.

Hey, excellent photos - thanks for that. I've still not mastered the art of preempting the shutter delay on the dig camera so just get loads of shots of back wheels
