Nothing wrong with tea right?

Nothing wrong with tea right?
Just wanna make sure there isn't anything with drinking a lot of tea in a day. The green tea I've been drinking dosn't have caffeine in it but I've been drinking quite a lot of it. Some days I have at least eight cups, so I'm just curious. Kinda bored this evening so I figured I'd post.

Love the green tea... At least a couple cups a day helps against those free radicals and keeps me regular
I think it's 100% ok especially if it's the caffeine free variety.

If your after the antioxidants, matcha tea as I mentioned earlier has up to 10-200 times (depending on what study you read) the antioxidants of green tea. Its actually has the highest density of antioxidents known to man, but since you only have a teaspoon at a time, its a decieving stat.
Antioxidants apparently are measured by an ORAC scale. Blueberries have 24 TE/g while matcha has 1384 TE/g
I just like its taste a lot better than green tea.

First, what do you mean by "a cup"? 8 oz., 6 oz., 1/2 oz (like a Japanese tea cup)? I have two 8 oz. cups of white tea most every afternoon. I'm very sensitive to caffeine, and the tea I drink doesn't seem to affect me. And do you load it up with sugar or honey? I was using honey, but after my taste buds got used to it, I quit adding sweetener. I do usually get a white tea with a little flavor (plum, melon, etc.) because I'm still not totally dialed into the grassy taste. Studies vary on amounts of anti-oxidants. It probably doesn't hurt you, and I just enjoy the process of making it. I buy loose leaf tea (usually Rishi), and have a plastic pot made by ingenuitea, as in https://coffeetea.about.com/od/teaware/gr/ingenuitea.htm

Oh, and matcha is just powdered green tea. Grinding increases available surface area and quantity is increased. Antioxodant properties are the same per unit equivalent tea leaf. Plus, you're probaly ingesting a lot of the powdered leaf that you don't ingest when brewing whole leaves. Kinda like popping chocolate coverd coffee beans!

My naturopath says I can drink all the green tea I want to. Even caffeinated.

I started drinking the stuff when I decided to stop drinking pop(never did drink much, but I don't miss it) and cut down on the amount of milk I was drinking. I still have a glass or two a day but I actually looked at the calories, cause I used to drink a ton of it. Yeah no caffeine in the tea I've been drinking, also havn't tried putting anything in it yet. I like the taste enough compared to just plain water when I'm at home.
I'm afraid I might be too lazy to make actual tea. I just heat up water in a glass(prolly around 8oz) and throw in a bag. That IngenuiTEA Teapot looks very interesting though, a good opportunity to dry out some ground tea. Many thanks to everyone

And yes you ingest all of it, thats the point. You don't steep it like regular tea, you dissolve it so you get 100% of it.
