Quick Fuel for an early AM ride

I'm going camping this weekend and may get out for a early morning ride. Going to the Galena, IL area and want to do a few hils and things where I'm at are pretty flat. So if I wake up early and decide to get out for a bit, what can I eat (without cooking) to fuel up a bit before I ride?

Any thoughts on something quick and easy?

Can of coke and a Snickers!

Actually I usually like to eat a banana before a morning ride, along with a big glass of water.

Fruit, cerial if you like that, chop up a couple of mellons the nigh before if you will be having a cool place to keep it overnight. Power bar kind of thing or fig newtons.

I'll second Powerbar or Fig Newtons. Milk and cereal make me feel a bit ill when I first start riding; fruit or yogurt for some reason give me stomach aches after my ride. Regardless of what you eat, drink as much water as you can. The amount I drink before a ride has seemed to make more of a difference than what I've eaten before a ride.

Bikes: Not enough

Oatmeal (package, add hot water) with some peaches does it for me. Careful not to overeat!

Cereal, 'breakfast bars', pop tarts, granola bars, some fruit, trail mix, a PB&J sandwich, some cookies, a sports drink, cold pizza...

Well maybe not the cold pizza, but you get the idea.

my formula of 1/2 frosted flakes, 1/2 corn flakes revves me up. although i don't know how it would work in a redwing fan.

Yoplait Nouriche breakfast smoothie. It's a drinkable yoghurt with 300 calories and lots of vitamins, potassium and protein. You could probably live on the these things and nothing else. No saturated fat.
