Bar end shifter question

I need to replace my dura ace shifters for my cervelo aero bar and just purchased ultegra 6700 rear derailleur and couldn't find an ultegra 10 speed one. I see 8 but no 10. I see Dura Ace 10 speed ones and I was wondering if they work work well with my RD? BTW, my front derailleur is 6800 ultegra.

Thank you in advance!

Bikes: 1997 Rivendell Road Standard 650b conversion (tourer), 1988 Schwinn Project KOM-10 (gravel/tour), 2013 Foundry Auger disc (CX/gravel), 2016 Cannondale Fat CAAD 2 (MTB/winter), 2011 Cannondale Flash 29er Lefty (trail MTB)

Yes, all of Shimano's bar-end shifters for the last couple generations have sold as Dura-Ace. The SL-BS79 Dura Ace 10 speed shifters will index perfectly with your RD-6700.

Your FD-6800 may require more (or maybe less?) lever pull than you've become accustomed to. If you compare the FD-6800 and FD-6700 visually, you'll see that the 6800 has a much taller lever arm. This changes the cable pull required at the shifter. But I don't know if it increased or decreased the amount of cable pull compared to the last generation.

Now the BS79 front/left shifter is friction-only and has tons of lever throw available; it can handle a triple crank. So it should work fine if more cable pull is required. If less is required, then you'll have a very short shift, which would also work fine.

This info helps. Thank you so much!

Yes you can mix and match as long as its shimano and the same number of gears. I know this was already answered over a month ago but I just wanted to enforce the truth of this statement.
