Tri book recommendations?
Hey, my wife has done 3 or 4 Sprints this past season. She is looking forward to doing Olympic in 2013. Any book recommendations concerning all aspects Tri? I got 3 picked out which are: Triathlete Magazine's Essential Week-by-Week Training Guide: Plans, Scheduling Tips, and Workout Goals for Triathletes of All Levels; Swim Workouts for Triathletes: Practical Workouts to Build Speed, Strength, and Endurance (Workouts in a Binder); The Triathlete's Training Bible - Joe Friel. Should I ditch one of these as they overlap with another? Should I go for Total Immersion for a swim book? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This is an older thread, so not sure if you are still in the market.
I got Swim Workouts for Triathletes with an Amazon gift card that was in my stocking. It is spiral bound and intended for poolside, though I am too paranoid to actually risk getting it wet. I like the book and would recommend it. However.... it is NOT a 'how to swim book,' but is primarily a planning tool to build up workouts.
