What I want to know is this: why is it that for every reply to this topic there are 286 views (as it currently stands)? That's a lot of people viewing and not posting?!? How is it that the UK part of this forum is so quiet?

Hello, I am from Hampshire, that's Hampshire in the UK, not New Hampshire! It's a nice place to cycle and you can find a mixture of quiet country lanes and rolling hilly countryside.
How many others are there from the UK on here? Would be good to see more people.

Me,I'm new! Live in London! I'm on here because there has been a Claud butler rusting in my mums shed for fifty years and before that in a corridor when I was about five ! I think it's older than me! The number is
7113502/ T if anyone knows what year that is? I think it's 52 but not sure! And I don't know what the T means,I think it's tourer but don't know ! It belonged to my uncle who gave it to my mum! It hasn't been ridden since the very early fifties! Although it's rusty in places everything still goes around without any discernible wear! Thinking of restoring it ,conflicted as to up dating or keeping as is with original parts? It has a dark royal blue frame and it's lug-less!

Another one here. Originally from South Cheshire but now living in Wrexham. Love my track cycling, so regularly at Manchester Velodrome at the minute. Will be Newcastle-Under-Lyme and Huyton when the weather picks up

Was in Cheshire, now about 10 miles west of the Cotswolds. Just finished building the above... thought the thread could do with some pictures.

Yorkshire Here
Hi All,
Im from denby Dale, in West Yorkshire & just bought my first ever road bike at the age of 61, and am looking forward to trying it out as soon as the weather becomes less wintery.
The cycle is a Viking XRR 18 speed shimano sora gears with dual control levers, 22" alloy frame and 700c wheels.
Hope I can get along with it as Ive only ever had a mountain bike before and that was years ago.
Anyway, just saying hello and nice to be here.
