Surprised not to see amention of it on this forum- but have to admit that I am only an occasional visitor.
Tour of Britain and you can ride a couple of stages as on the link
https://www.unitebycycling.org.uk/
Entries are still possible but mine went in months ago. I am on the London FUN Ride in the morning. Sponsorship is for Prostate Cancer and they have requested "Fancy Dress" Don't know about fancy but mine is wierd enough to count.
So if you see "Bananaman" out on the South Coast in the next couple of weeks-You are not seeing things- it's only me seeing if I can pedal 20km on a bike with a high C.o.G that is about 3ft behind the rear wheel

Niiiice! Good luck with the training. I will go to watch a stage if I get chance, last year's was a really good experience.

Right, I will once again be at the London stage of the ToB. It's this Saturday (19th Sep) in the Westminster kind of area at 2pm.
If anyone fancies meeting up or having a post-race ride or something, here's the place to arrange it.

Look out for Bananaman or the 50+ jersey.

But looking like an idiot and acting like one did have its advantages. You can take all sorts of liberties with the Podium girls

Got it recorded. I have to admit that I cannot be missed- Other than a couple of Pink leggings and wigs and a couple dressed up in "60's" clothing- No- one else took the effort for fancy dress. I didn't know whether to be embarrassed to laugh at every one else for not reading the request for fancy dress.
