double legged kick stands

dropping off a curb might be a consideration. Or climbing a curb for that matter. Inadvertently hitting a pothole might be a jarring experience. There's probably others too.

I tried the kind that fold to the side, it broke; lack of grease?. (Pletscher Double Leg Center Mount )
I want to try the Acclaim Double Black Kickstand (Looks adjustable)
or the Evo MassLoad Double Leg.
Any one tryed these?
Yuba makes one now: Boda Double Stand
but not adjustable.
Actually I need one that is not in fixed position, because my chain-stays are not at an angle. They are straight across from the rear axle. This puts regular stands at a farword reach position.

I am riding a Pedego City Commuter ebike which I have setup pretty topheavy. It came with a Porteur Massload Double Kickstand which I found to be a bit too narrow for my needs. I ended up going to an Ursus Jumbo Double Kickstand. You can see below a picture of the Porteur Massload laying on top of Ursus. Follow the link for more details and photos.

I took ad vantage of a fabrication Opportunity.. some one else's shop.
so made the rear wheel has a Prop stand I pull the rear wheel up onto,
for ultimate stability.
Found it quite nice , the cyclo-camper bike , Stand the bike up on the soft turf
and pack and unpack from both sides , of a freestanding bike..

I read some info about a company that was using the Ursus kickstand for a fleet of porter/heavy load bikes and was seeing failures. I also read about someone who was using one on a bike with two kids sitting on the bike. In both cases it sounds like they were exceeding the weight limit of the Ursus, which is 55kg (about 120 lbs). My ebike with trunk, battery, etc is about 70lbs and not all of that is on the kickstand. There are many folks who rave about this kickstand. So far it has been great for me as well. My hunch is that it will serve me well if I stay inside ther specs.

Thanks, I will then take the risk, but will wait for an opportunity to get one outside of the US as, with typical surcharges on the far-away low-volume products, these US prices are just plain prohibitive.

I have this stand on my cruiser finding it to do well under the bikes heavy weight.

I mounted my new center stand today. The bike actually balances on the stand and rear wheel. Also, it hangs pretty low, just about cutting ground clearance in half. Not a problem in my case, but may be for others. It's going to prove to be the cat's pajama's when loading the baskets with goodies!

I got one of the crow center stands, had to send it back, too short.
